Una boda «ben nostra», ¡como decimos los isleños…! 🙂

Nuestra pareja se conoce literalmente, de toda la vida, ya que desde muy temprana edad, ¡los 6 añitos! han sido amigos. Una amistad que en 2002, unos años más tarde, se transformaría por parte de Toni en un ¿quieres salir conmigo? a lo que Joana contestó ¡claro que sí! 😉
Our bride and groom have known each other and been great friends from a very young age of 6 years old! A friendship that in 2002, a few years later, would be transformed by Toni into a “would you like to be my girlfriend?” to which Joana replied “yes of course!”.
Un día, tras un largo noviazgo, sucedió lo imprevisto para Joana. Era el 12 de agosto de 2016. Salieron a cenar y a tomar unas cervezas y al llegar a casa, nos cuenta Joana, la pareja comenzó a fantasear con el tema del matrimonio a lo que ella respondió que sin anillo ¡no había boda! a lo que Toni respondió hincando la rodilla en el suelo y sacando una cajita con un precioso anillo de pedida. Al final al parecer ¡sí que habría boda! ¡Menuda sorpresa!
One day, after a long relationship, the unexpected happened to Joana. It was August 12, 2016. The couple went out to dinner and to have some beers and when they got home, Joana tells us, the couple began to fantasize about the wedding they had always dreamed of… to which she replied that without a ring there was no wedding! Suddenly Toni was kneeling on the floor and taking out a small box with a beautiful ring and proposed! So it seems that there will be a wedding! What a surprise!
Y vaya si la ha habido…Para ello nos confiaron su día más feliz y nosotras nos pusimos manos a la obra para hacer sus sueños realidad. Marga Figuerola, wedding planner de Moments, fue la encargada de liderar todo el evento. Se ocupó de todos los detalles, de la decoración, de los preparativos, de los deseos de los novios…
Ambos son de Binissalem y tenían muy claro que en tanto como perfectos enamorados de su pueblo que son ambos, iba a ser el telón de fondo perfecto para un día como este. Para ello eligieron la Finca Bellveure sito en Binissalem. Iba a ser un día muy especial y se iba a notar en cada uno de los muchos detalles.
After telling us this wonderful story of their happiest day, we set to work to make their dreams come true and make their wedding a magical one. Marga Figuerola, wedding planner from Moments, was in charge of leading the entire event team and coordinating the special day. She took care of every detail, the decoration, the preparation, and catered to the exact wishes from the couple …
Both are from Binissalem and they were very clear that as great admirers of their home village, it would be the perfect venue for their special day. Finally the event venue was chose at Finca Bellveure of course located in Binissalem. It was going to be a very special day down to the very last detail.
La Boda / The Wedding
El día elegido fue el 12 de Agosto. Toni iba muy elegante, ¡como se espera de un buen novio! Zapatos de cordones, traje impecable, corbata y botones completaban su outfit de novio perfecto.
The special day was to be held on the 12th of August. Toni was very elegant, as expected of a good groom! Laced shoes, impeccable suit and his tie and buttonhole completed his perfect groom outfit.
Joana eligió un precioso vestido y velo firmado por el modisto mallorquín Miquel Àngel Company. El tocado que lució era de La Moscovita. Los zapatos de novia de Clarks y el ramo se lo preparamos nosotras, el equipo de Floral de Moments.
Joana chose a beautiful dress and veil designed by the Mallorcan designer Miquel Àngel Company. The headdress she wore was from La Muscovita. Her shoes from Clarks bridal collection and the bouquet was prepared by us, the Floral team at Moments.

Music for the newlyweds
Luego veréis por qué la música tuvo también un gran protagonismo en este enlace, presente en todo momento. La entrada del novio fue a ritmo de la canción Sweet Jane (un guiño a la que iba a convertirse en su mujer) y la novia hizo lo propio con The Echo & The Shadow.

Las alianzas que se intercambiaron Joana y Toni eran unas creaciones de Pep Joan Joies. Los oficiantes de la boda fueron Aurora Mateu, Pere Pol y Cesar Moreno.
The vows that were exchanged between Joana and Toni were a creation by Pep Joan Joies. The wedding ceremony officiants were Aurora Mateu, Pere Pol and Cesar Moreno.
La salida de los novios fue a ritmo de Hospital del Mar de el grupo Els Pets.
The departure of the couple was to the rhythm of Hospital del Mar of the Els Pets group.
Un banquete con muy buen ambiente / The wedding banquet was set with a very good atmosphere
Fue una de esas bodas que se llenan de magia debido a la gran sintonía de los novios con todos los reunidos. Y como os decíamos antes, la música fue también la gran protagonista ya que el novio es músico y no dudó en actuar en su propia boda con su banda, Coolcab. ¡Hasta dio un concierto a su recién estrenada mujer!
It was one of those weddings that are filled the air with magic due to the great harmony of the couple and with all the guests that gathered to enjoy the evening with them. As we told you before, once again the music was also the main attraction…since the groom is a musician and did not hesitate to perform at his own wedding with his band, Coolcab. He even gave a concert to his new wife!

Banquete nupcial y gran fiesta con la música como protagonista
Lo decoramos todo tal y como se había pactado y ¡quedó realmente muy bonito! Siguiendo el estilo melómano de esta boda, las mesas estaban señalizadas con portadas de discos que habían marcado la vida de los contrayentes, ¡una forma mucho más original que simplemente enumerándolas como es habitual!
We decorated everything as discussed in the couples wishes and it was really beautiful! Following the music-loving style of this wedding, the tables were marked names of album covers that had marked their life together, a much more original way than simply listing them as usual!
Se sirvió un delicioso banquete firmado por Tot a Punt catering y todo el mundo disfrutó de lo lindo.
En palabras de la novia «La diversión y el gran ambiente reinante fue la tónica dominante de la boda, pero si tenemos que elegir los momentos más divertidos fueron durante la entrega de los regalos y los dos ramos de la novia.»
A delicious banquet designed by Tot a Punt catering was served and everyone really enjoyed it.
In the words of the bride «The fun and the great atmosphere was the tonic to the wedding, but if we had to choose the funniest moment, It was during the delivery of the gifts and the two bouquets of the bride.»
El momento más inesperado para los novios fueron las palabras que les dedicaron sus amigas.

La comida estuvo plagada de anécdotas, como por ejemplo que se celebró el 30 aniversario de una amiga durante la misma o que el café se sirvió dentro de un coche!, pero no uno cualquiera, sino del café-coche MA13, ¡todo un espectáculo para los más cafeteros ya que te muelen el café en el momento y sabe delicioso!
The food was full of little surprises, such as the 30th anniversary of a friend celebrated on the same day or the coffee that was served in a car, but not just any one, but the coffee-car MA13, a great show for the coffee growers because they grind your coffee at the moment and it tastes delicious!
