Fue en mayo del año pasado cuando conocimos a nuestros queridos novios, Neus & Emilio. La conexión entre todos fue instantánea. Nos contaron muchas cositas, entre ellas, ¡conocían Moments de anteriores ferias realizadas en Palma!, después nos contaron sus ideas para la boda y entre otras cosas, nos dijeron que ya tenían decidida la fecha, ¡se casaban el 6 de septiembre del 2014! Seguimos charlando e intercambiando ideas, nosotras atentas a todos los detalles, ellos dispuestos a innovar y dejarse asesorar. Conectamos, nos entendimos y a los pocos días de ese primer encuentro, ya nos volvíamos a ver y empezábamos con las llamadas, mails, visitas, cafetitos para encontrar el lugar perfecto. Después de algunas visitas sólo con una mirada ya nos entendíamos, así seguimos hasta que al final se guiaron por su corazón y decidieron casarse en el precioso Hotel Formentor ya que reunía todas sus preferencias: un lugar con gran historia, increíbles vistas al mar, romántico, cómodo para los invitados y familiares que vinieran de fuera y lo más importante, una gran estima por el lugar. ¡Sitio perfecto!

It was May of last year when we met this delightful couple. Neus & Emilio. The connection between usa ll was instant. They told us many things, among them, that they knew Moments from earlier fairs realized in Palma. Then they told us some of the ideas they had for their wedding, among which was the date they wanted, 6 September 2014. We continued to chat and interchange ideas. We were attentive to all the details and they were happy to have our advice. We Connected and understood one another and a few days after this first encounter we met again and began telephoning, emails, visits to find the the perfect place for their marriage ceremony. After only a few visits with only a look we understood them and we continued until they were guided by their hearts and decided to marry at the beautiful Hotel Formentor as it brought together all of their preferences: a place with great history, incredible views of the sea, romantic, comfortable for family and guests that came from abroad and most important a great respect for the place. A perfect place.
EL GRAN DÍA / THE BIG DAY
Una vez decidido el lugar nos metimos de lleno en el montaje. ¡Empezamos! Asesorados por el departamento de decoración de Moments, Arantxa y Cristina aportaron las diferentes opciones donde montar la ceremonia, aperitivo, cena, fiesta… Tras muchas ideas, reuniones y muchas risas, al final decidieron que el mejor lugar para la ceremonia era la impresionante escalinata y después seguir la fiesta en el “Sunset” utilizando las dos terrazas. Dos espacios abiertos, diáfanos y con vistas al mar que nos daban carta blanca para poder dejar volar la imaginación. ¡Y así fue! Un poco de brillo aquí, un lazo naranja allá, toque musical…¡genial!

Once they had decide don the place, we were immersed in the organization. We began. Assessed by the department of decoration of Moments, Arantxa and Cristina brought out different options on where to hold the ceremony, the appetizers, dinner, and party. After many ideas, reunions and laughter, they finally decided the best place for the ceremony was the impressive stairway and to have the party afterward in the ‘Sunset” using the terraces. Two open spaces next to each other with sea views and cave free flight to the imaginatiion. And so it was. A bit of shine here, an orange ribbon there, a touch of music …Fantastic!
Cerrados los primeros detalles, los novios se zambulleron de lleno en la organización de la boda. Tenían clarísimo que querían una boda muy romántica, con grandes momentos pero nada convencional, un toque moderno, divertida y que no faltaran detalles 🙂
Nos pusimos manos a la obra y con unos novios entregados al 110% y nuestro equipo de decoración, empezamos a perfilar poco a poco, semana a semana, mes a mes…, el montaje del gran día! El color de la boda era el naranja y querían que hubiera brillo, algo plateado, flor romántica pero nada ostentosa y así, incontables detalles que daban personalidad y carácter al gran día y de este modo, llegamos a la conjunción del blanco con el naranja, La primera imagen para los invitados era la romántica ceremonia con la moqueta naranja (un puntazo sorprendente para todos pero ¡ideal!), esos toques de purpurina, plateados que aportaban luminosidad a cada rincón. Sin duda, ¡una maravilla para todos los sentidos!

The first details completed, the couple became fully involved in the organization of their wedding. They were clear that they wanted a very romantic wedding , with grand moments, but not conventional with a modern touch, lots of fun and details.
We put ourselves to the tasks and with the couple 110% involved and our decoration team, we bagan top ut it together Little by Little, week by week, month by month …until it was ready for the big day. The color of the wedding was to be orange and they wanted it to shine with somethings silver, romantic flowers but nothing ostentatious and so uncountable details that gave personality and carácter on the day of the wedding and in this fashion, we arrived at a conjunction of orange and white . The first image for the guests was a romantic ceremony with orange carpet ( a surprising point for all but a great idea!), touches of purpurina and silver that brought luminosity to every corner. Without a doubt a marvel for all the senses.

¡HORA DE CELEBRARLO! / TIME TO CELEBRATE!
Para el aperitivo montamos una gran barra central y alrededor riquísimas estaciones, como, cortador de jamón, solomillo a la plancha, tabla de quesos… con mesitas bajas, set de sofás donde relajarse y seguir disfrutando del rincón de los deseos donde dejar unas palabras para esa nueva etapa que acaban de empezar, el divertido plano de mesas hecho con antiguos vinilos de la familia, cámaras antiguas de la familia, ¡pequeñas joyas! ¡¡Ahhh!! y no podemos olvidarnos de Elvis, quien amenizaba el aperitivo y al final, todos terminaron bailando y haciendo una espontánea y divertidísima conga.

For the appetizers we put up a large central bar and around it all sorts of rich delights like cut ham, grilled filet steaks, cheese boards, …with low tables sets of sofás, where people could relax and continue enjoying the wishing corner where they coul dleave words for this new stage which had just begun, The fun arrangement of the tables decorated with old family films and cameras of the family were little jewels. Ah! And we can’t forget Elvis, who accompanied the appetizers and everyone ended up dancing and making a spontaneous and enjoyable conga line.
El montaje de la cena también fue un despliegue de detalles; mesas cuadradas, mantelería de organza blanca, luz indirecta blanca que contrastaba con la luz envolvente en color azul de los pinos y alrededores. El centro de mesa era un conjunto de jarrones con orquídeas sumergidas, muchas velas de diferentes tamaños, el número y nombre de la mesa con toques plateado. Para nosotras, un centro que daba luz y desprendía romanticismo. Además, no debemos olvidarnos de la mesa de los novios la cual contrastaba con las del resto de invitados ya que era una mesa alargada bajo una pérgola con luces. ¡Tan romántico!

The assembly of the dinner was also a display of details; square tables, white organza linens, white indirect light that contrasted to the surrounding light blue pines and vicinity. The centre of the table was a combination of jars with submerged orquids, many different sized candles, and the numbers and names at the table had touches of silver.For us this was a centre that gave off light and spread romanticism. . Besides we don’t want to forget the table of the bride and groom, which contrasted with all the rest of the guests tables. It was a long table extended under a pérgola with lights. So romantic!
Durante la cena hubo diferentes sorpresas, proyecciones, regalos para los amigos, futuros novios, madres, hermanos…y para terminar la cena una gran tarta de cupcakes!! ¡Delicioso!

During the dinner there were different surprises, projections, gifts for friends, engaged couples, mothers, brothers… and to finish dinner a huge cake of cupcakes!. Delicious!
Una vez terminada la cena se dirigieron hacía la fiesta en el Bar playa donde les esperaban la sorpresa de una gran batucada para empezar el baile y la fiesta hasta el amanecer con la sorpresa del cambio de vestido de la novia (que guapa que estaba, imposible elegir cuál de los dos modelazos de Rosa Clará nos gustaba más), súper baile de los novios, cotillón luminoso, resopón de mini-hamburguesas… Y muchos más.

Once the dinner was finished everyone was directed to the celebration in the beach bar, where another surprise awaited, a grand drumming to start the dancing and celebrating until dawn with the bride surprising all with a change of gown (she was so lovely, it was imposible to chose which of the two Rosa Clara designs we liked best) a super bride and groom dance , bright cotillion, late night snack of mini-burgers … And much more.
Como veis, Neus y Emilio organizaron con mucho mimo y cariño su gran día para poder disfrutar desde el primer minuto junto sus familiares y amigos. Para todo el equipo de Moments fue un placer poder compartir con ellos todos los meses previos y el romántico día con esos encantadores novios que tanto cariño nos trasmitían y que nos hicieron partícipes de todos los detalles. Un abrazo pareja y hasta siempre, ¡gracias por confiar en Moments!

As you can see, Neus and Emilio organized their special day with much care and love so that they could enjoy it from the first moments together with their families and friends. For the entire Moments team it was a pleasure to share all of the months of preparations and the romantic day with this enchanting couple who tansmitted their love and made us participants in all of the details.
