Andrea y Guillermo se casaron en un día precioso y soleado en Mallorca, concretamente en la iglesia del colegio Nuestra Señora de Montesión de Palma, en una emotiva ceremonia católica ante sus familiares y amigos. Un día lleno de emociones para esta pareja de hermosos que vamos a contarte con todo lujo de detalles en este nuevo post, donde recogemos muchas anécdotas de la pareja en este día tan especial. La recepción, el banquete y la fiesta tuvieron lugar en la preciosa finca familiar de la novia. ¡Nada como estar en como en casa en un día tan importante y decisivo! Para nosotros fue un enorme placer ayudarles a dar forma al evento que iba a transformar el resto de sus vidas, y con un entorno así de bonito, fue relativamente fácil…Y aquí empieza como fue todo. ¿Preparados para un nuevo viaje destino «y fueron felices para siempre»?
Andrea and Guillermo were married on a beautiful and sunny day in Mallorca in the church of the Nuestra Señora de Montesión de Palma school, in an emotional Catholic ceremony surrounded by their family and friends. A day full of emotion for this beautiful couple that we are going to tell you all about in this latest post, where we share many memories from the newlywed on this special day. The welcome drinks, the banquet and the party took place in the brides beautiful family estate. Nothing like being at home for such an important and decisive day! For us it was a great pleasure to help them shape the event that was going to transform the rest of their lives, and with such a beautiful environment, it was relatively eas …. Detalles de la Novia / Details of the Bride
Andrea nos cuenta ilusionada cómo fueron los momentos previos al esperado Sí, quiero. «Nos vestimos por separado como es lógico, en mi caso fue en casa de mis padres, donde posteriormente se haría la comida y la fiesta, rodeada de mis padres, hermanos, cuñados y sobrinos… y donde vinieron los padrinos a entregarme el Ramo. Guillermo, en su caso, se vistió en casa de sus padres también rodeado de su familia.»
Andrea tells us how excited her moments were before the “I do’s”. «We dressed separately, in my case it was in my parents’ house, where later the banquet and the party would take place, surrounded by my parents, brothers, brothers-in-law and nephews… and where the godparents came to give me the bouquet. Guillermo, dressed in his parents’ house also surrounded by his family «.
El primer vestido que lució Andrea para la ceremonia y que le sentaba como un guante fue diseñado por Raimont Bundó en su atelier de Barcelona, los primeros zapatos que llevó eran unas sandalias clásicas de tiras y para el baile optó por unas espardeñas de la firma Castañer.
The first dress that Andrea wore for the ceremony fitted her like a glove was designed by Raimont Bundó in his atelier in Barcelona, the first pair of shoes she wore were classic strappy sandals and for the dance she opted for espardeñas from the firm Castañer.
Como detalles especiales Andrea nos cuenta: «Llevaba una mantilla antigua hecha a mano y unos pendientes que me había regalado mi novio unas navidades, así como el anillo de pedida y por despiste, ¡me deje toda la ceremonia una goma de pelo puesta en la muñeca!, no me di cuenta hasta que vimos las fotos de la boda, sería cosa de los nervios…. ; )»
As special details Andrea tells us: «I wore an old hand-made shawl and earrings that my boyfriend had given me for Christmas, as well as the engagement ring and forgetfulness, I leave the entire ceremony a rubber band put on my wrist!, I did not realize until we saw the wedding photos, it would be a matter of nerves … ; ) «
El Novio / The Groom
Guillermo se hizo el Chaqué en Campins un sastre de toda la vida de Palma y en su caso llevaba unos gemelos de oro de su abuelo paterno.
Guillermo choose the Chaqué by Campins, a life-long tailor from Palma and he wore gold cufflinks from his paternal grandfather.
La Ceremonia en la Iglesia de Montesión / The Ceremony in the Church of Montesión
¡Por un momento se hizo el silencio en la Iglesia! Y es que la novia, ¡se hacía de rogar más de lo previsto! Y es que, para apuro momentáneo del novio, el padre de la novia y ésta misma ¡¡se despistaron con la dirección de la iglesia!! y se pasaron un buen rato perdidos dando vueltas en un coche de época buscando el lugar. Menos mal que todo quedó en una divertida anécdota, y al final la «novia perdida» encontró su destino. Aunque viajar con chaqué y con altas temperaturas en un coche sin aire acondicionado, no debió de ser tarea fácil para los pasajeros…
For a moment there was silence in the Church! And it is that the bride took longer than expected! In fact for momentary embarrassment of the groom the bride and her father were mistaken in the church address and they spent a good time lost circling in a vintage car looking for the place. Fortunately, everything was a funny story to tell, and in the end the «lost bride» found her destiny. Although traveling a coat and high temperatures in a car without air conditioning, it should not have been an easy task for the passengers…
La entrada en la Iglesia / The entry into the Church
Para el novio casarse en la esta iglesia tenía un significado especial ya que tanto él como su padre estudiaron en ese colegio. Guillermo entró del brazo de su madre al majestuoso ritmo de PRENUDI Nº1 de BACH y Andrea, un poco más tarde y como manda la tradición, hizo lo mismo del brazo de mi padre, de fondo, la MARCHA NUPCIAL de WAGNER.
For the groom to get married in this church had a special meaning since both he and his father studied at that school. Guillermo entered arm in arm with his mother to the majestic rhythm of PRENUDI No. 1 of BACH and Andrea, a little later and as tradition dictates, did the same thing on her father’s arm, to the sound of, WAGNER’S NUPCIAL MARCH.
Aperitivo largo junto a la piscina / Drinks by the pool
Como ya os hemos comentado la celebración transcurrió en la finca familiar, en el campo y ¡rodeados de naturaleza y animales! La preciosa casa rústica de estilo mallorquín ofrecía muchas oportunidades y localizaciones para esta gran fiesta, así que ¡no las desaprovechamos!
As we have already mentioned, the celebration took place on the family property, in the countryside and surrounded by nature and animals! The beautiful Mallorcan-style rustic house offered many opportunities and locations for this great party, so we did not waste them!
Como la boda fue de día por lo que se optó por algo realmente original, por una parte se ofreció un aperitivo largo con gran variedad de estaciones y una comida de bodas más cortita para equilibrar. Como vais a ver, el Jardín Catering de Maca de Castro, fue tan exquisito como podéis imaginar viendo las fotografías…
As the wedding took place during the day, we chose something really original. On the one hand, we offered a long welcome drinks with a great variety of seasons and a shorter wedding meal to balance. The Garden Catering of Maca de Castro, was as exquisite as you can imagine seeing the photographs …
El aperitivo se hizo en la parte de la piscina la cual se decoró montando zonas chill out de estilo mediterráneo y se acompañó con una decoración mallorquina, cojines azules de lenguas y decoración de limones en las mesas.
The welcome drinks where held at the pool area was decorated by setting chill out areas with Mediterranean style and was accompanied by local inspired decoration, with Mallorcan “Lenguas” blue cushions of and tables decorated with lemons.
El banquete de Boda / The wedding banquet
La comida y la discoteca se hizo en la parte del jardín, sobre el césped. Los invitados se acercaban al seating plan que habíamos colocado estratégicamente en le jardín, para conocer cual era su mesa. Siguiendo con el entorno, lo montamos de estilo rústico, a juego con el resto de la deco de la bonita finca con casa de persianas azules.
The banquet and the disco was organized in the garden, on the lawn. The guests approached the seating plan that we had placed strategically in the garden, to know what was their table. Continuing with the surroundings, set in a rustic style, to match the rest of the deco of the beautiful property with a house with blue shutters.
Para el banquete se optó por colocar unos centros campestres con ramas de olivo, margaritas pequeñas y limones.
For the banquet, we placed some country style centre pieces with olive branches, small wild daisies and lemons.
Toda la gráfica estaba ambientada con los cuadros vichy en azul.
The whole graphic was set with the Vichy paintings in blue.
La Disco bajo la carpa / The Disco under the tent
Para la discoteca, optamos por poner una carpa beduina con la barra y la pista de baile dentro. Y por supuesto todo rodeado de zonas y áreas de descanso para los invitados. ¡Quedó precioso de verdad!
For the disco, we chose to put a Bedouin tent with the bar and the dance floor inside, sectioned in to individual zones and rest areas for guests. It really was beautiful!
La carpa beduina la decoramos con lucecitas por los alrededores para dar ese efecto de magia que tanto nos gusta. Para la decoración optamos por el chill out rústico y los cojines también de cuadros vichy.
The Bedouin tent was decorated with lights to give that magic effect that we like so much. For the decoration we opted for the rustic chill out and the cushions also of Vichy paintings.
Para amenizar la fiesta se contrató al Dj Paco Colombas, a Panela Productions y los chicos de Lo Music. ¡Ambientazo de los que hacen historia!
To entertain the party was hired Dj Paco Colombas, Panela Productions and the guys from Lo Music. A great ambient of those who make history!
El Resopón
Para el resopón pusimos una furgoneta que servia hamburguesas, ¡una idea que gustó mucho a los asistentes tras tanto bailoteo y energía gastada en este gran día!
The late night snack
For the late night snack we organized a food truck that served hamburgers, an idea that the guests liked a lot after so much dancing and energy spent on this great day!
Y ¡como no! Nos gusta mucho preguntar a nuestros novios por esas impresiones tras el día de su boda y esto es lo que nos dijo Andrea en nombre de los recién casados:
En general fue un día maravilloso, no sería capaz de decidirte solo uno, todos los momentos fueron especiales, aunque pasa tan rápido….!!! En el momento no eres capaz de asimilarlo todo, y a medida que van pasando los días puedes ir haciendo balance, fue un día muy especial!
Gracias a la ayuda de Ana y su gran equipo de Moments todo salió según el plan previsto, pero una de las anécdotas divertidas de la boda fue que mi padre y yo nos perdimos con el coche para llegar a la iglesia y tuvimos más de media hora esperando a los invitados y a mi todavía novio ¡dentro de la iglesia! Habíamos avisado que estábamos llegando para que los invitados fueran entrando en la iglesia… y luego nos perdimos por el casco antiguo de Palma, mi padre iba asfixiado por el chaqué (llevábamos un coche antiguo sin aire acondicionado) conduciendo sin rumbo por los alrededores de la iglesia. ¡Guillermo creyó por un momento que me había arrepentido!
And of course! We really like to ask our couples for those impressions after their wedding day and this is what Andrea told us in the name of the newlyweds:
In general it was a wonderful day, I would not be able to decide just one, all the moments were special, although it happens so fast… !!! At the moment you are not able to assimilate everything, and as the days go by you can go on taking stock, it was a very special day! Thanks to the help of Ana and her great Moments team, everything went according to plan, but one of the funniest moments of the wedding was that my father and I got lost in the car to get to the church and we kept our guests and my boyfriend waiting more than half an hour inside the church! We had warned that we were arriving so that the guests could enter the church … and then we were lost in the old town of Palma, my father was suffocated by his coat (we had an old car without air conditioning) driving aimlessly around the church. Guillermo believed for a moment that I had regreated!
