Desde la ciudad del amor a Son Doblons / FROM THE CITY OF LOVE TO SON DOBLONS

Today we are moving to Son Doblons, a manor house built in the 16th century that has been the residence of the owners of the surrounding extensive farmland for centuries.

It has been recently restored and has become an ideal place for weddings. Spacious rooms, wonderful views, immense gardens filled with water lilies, and the sound of water, which create a magical atmosphere in the estate.

So when our protagonists today saw the farm, they had no doubts this was the perfect place!

Ilian and Gwennaëlle are a super fun Parisian couple. Meetings with them always ended with a toast! 😉

They had known Son Doblons for the wedding of some friends, so we set out to celebrate their wedding there.

They both got dressed in the estate. Gwennaëlle wore a beautiful dress made by the young French designer Laurent Kapelski and combined it with blue shoes by Paco Mena. All the jewels she wore had a sentimental value because they were gifts from special people for important moments of her life.

She had her hair tied up in a beautiful bow with two twin flowers, the same as the one she wore on her dress.

The ceremony was very emocional. The precious younger nieces, wearing olive leaves and white roses crowns, opened up to the bride. All with Menorcan shoes.

The white decoration, with paniculata balls dangling from the trees gave a very romantic touch.

Many readings and words of love were the protagonists of the wedding.

Afterwards, a tasty aperitif from Tot to Punt by the pool, with Möet Chandon and the typical drink of France, Ricard, took place.

Meanwhile, the photographer Francisco Fonteyne toured the gardens of the estate with the couple to make pictures as beautiful as these.

For dinner, Tot a Punt prepared a delicious tuna and tomato tartar, sea bass with tumbet carpaccio, and white chocolate mousse dessert! Everything was mouth-watering ! 😉

The couple’s friends put the mood into the night. Funny videos, photos and speeches brightened the dinner … But everything did not end there! The next day, followed a delicious brunch for all the guests who remained in the island!
